With an eye on expanding rapidly in emerging technology areas ranging from Artificial Intelligence to Deep Learning, Pactera Technologies India Pvt Ltd has set up its India Centre in Hyderabad.

This will be in addition to the core strength of the China headquartered company, which is into providing IT services on a global scale. The Centre in the HiTec City will have 150 staff in the first phase and add another 300 in phase two in the next few years. Jayesh Ranjan, IT Secretary, Telangana, formally launched the Centre and operations of the company at a function today.

Venkat Rangapuram, Senior Vice-President & General Manager (North America, Europe), said, “Pactera seeks to expand its India presence in the coming months. The talent here is outstanding and we are looking forward to expanding our relationships and introducing more clients and partners to our services as we scale operations”.

“Pactera India will not only become a delivery hub that will connect customers from US, Europe, APAC, Australia, and China but also will be an innovative centre focusing on latest technologies like AI, ML, blockchain, cognitive capabilities etc. We aspire to be a 2,000 people company by 2020, focusing purely on digital technologies,” said Narayan Murthy, Vice-President and Country Head, India.
