MLB fans react to Michael Jordan pursuing Ken Griffey Jr. for an autograph at the 1993 MLB All-Star Game: "G.O.A.T.S."

This will be the coolest throwback for all MLB fans. One of the greatest basketball players of all time, Michael Jordan once asked MLB star Ken Griffey Jr. for an autograph.

The superb incident happened at the 1993 MLB All-Star Game. Jordan took advantage of the opportunity, pushing through reporters and handing the rising star a bat for autograph. In return, Jordan autographed Griffey Jr.'s Chicago White Sox jersey.

Fans couldn't keep calm and showered their love on their beloved stars after watching the legendary moment.

Ken Griffey Jr. was admitted into the Cincinnati Reds' Hall of Fame, as well as the Seattle Mariners' Hall of Fame. In 2016, Griffey broke pitcher Tom Seaver's record of 98.84%, which had stood for 24 years, and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame with 99.32% of the vote.

Griffey Jr. is a 13-time All-Star and 10-time Gold Glove Award winner. He even had his No. 24 retired by the Seattle Mariners. Jordan returned to winning Larry O'Brien trophies following his brief stint in baseball.

Only 31 players have played in major league games throughout four separate calendar decades, and Griffey is one of them. Griffey became a special consultant for the Mariners after finishing his playing career.

Michael Jordan is widely regarded as the best basketball player to have ever lived. He competed in the NBA for fifteen seasons, earning six NBA titles with the Chicago Bulls.

Jordan is renowned for his product endorsements and was one of the top athletes of his generation with the best marketing campaigns. He contributed to the commercial success of Nike's Air Jordan shoes, which were first released in 1984 and are still well-liked today.

Jordan was the main subject of the Emmy Award-winning documentary miniseries "The Last Dance" and starred as himself in the 1996 live-action/animated hybrid picture "Space Jam".
