Cancellation of the 11th SAAJ International Seminar

Based on the basic policy for the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) prevention measures (25 February 2020) and subsequent guidance of the government, the 11th SAAJ International Seminar scheduled on April 7, 2020 has been cancelled.

Report

The SAAJ International Seminar has been organized by SAAJ annually since 2010 focusing on the most critical issues related to investment management. The 10th Seminar was held in Tokyo on April 16, 2019, with the main theme of “New Business in Asset Management under Digitalization”, participated by 176 CEOs and investment professionals.Mr. Hideki Ito, Deputy Director-General Supervisory Bureau, Financial Services Agency (FSA), Government of Japan, Mr. Nick Trueman, Head of Asia Pacific for the Global Investment Management Services, T. Rowe Price, from the U.S., and other top leaders in the asset management industry from Japan gave many significant insights into issues, challenges, and opportunities toward a new phase of the industry under digitalization. Mr. Toshihide Endo, Commissioner, Financial Services Agency, Government of Japan also participated in and gave an opening remark in the reception.
