Introducing the Latitude 9440, Your Collaboration Device

These days work happens everywhere. Be it cranking on a presentation at the airport, taking client meetings from the kitchen or answering emails on the train, you can continue to collaborate and stay connected with style. The new Latitude 9440 caters to the needs of executives, salespeople and consultants, and it is packed with innovation in the world’s smallest 14-inch commercial PC.2

Inspired by the iconic design of our XPS line, but with a deliberate aesthetic for business users, the Latitude 9440 is clean, smooth and simplified. The machined aluminum and graphite color offer a sleek and premium look. Even with this beautiful two-in-one design, we’ve prioritized performance. Conference calls can take a toll on your PC, but they are here to stay. We’ve updated our thermal design to rear venting dual-fan systems for a cool and quiet experience.

    • Our new design choices cater to the commercial user for a comfortable all-day typing experience. Stemming from our Concept Luna sustainable PC workstream, we’ve reduced backlit keyboard power usage by up to 75%2 and increased battery life by three hours3 with our new mini-LED backlit keyboard technology. Images are sharper and more immersive on the new Latitude 9440. The striking new keyboard includes wider keys with no gap (also known as zero-lattice), increased angle between keys and curvature on each key for easy tactile separation. We’ve fit a 14-inch display into a 13-inch chassis4 with 16:10 aspect ratio and InfinityEdge QHD+.
    • Our Latitude 9330 made conference and video calls easier, and we’ve built on that with the 9440, integrating the world’s first haptic collaboration touchpad.2 We’re adding customizable haptic feedback for your touchpad to feel the way you like it for a seamless user experience. The microphone on/off, camera on/off, share screen and chat functions are enabled right at your fingertips on the touchpad when on Zoom calls, with Microsoft Teams functionality coming later this year.

Incredibly Light and Small, the New Latitude 7000 series

Being on-the-go always comes with challenges. Is my device charged? Is it a pain to carry around? Is it reliable and durable to handle the worst-case scenarios? Our new Latitude 7000 series features Ultralights and aluminum options to offer a variety of sizes, form factors and function for the diverse needs of the mobile professional. It includes 16:10 aspect ratio and the same mini-LED battery saving keyboard as the 9440 to make it easier to work productively, no matter the location.

    • The Latitude 7340/7440 Ultralights deliver productivity in a thin and light form factor for maximum mobility. Now available in a 14-inch display size, they are the world’s smallest and lightest 14-inch2 and 13.3-inch premium commercial laptops.2 Weighing under one kilogram (13 inches) and slightly over one kilogram (14 inches), and made with magnesium throughout the full chassis, the devices are light yet extremely durable with a smooth and sleek touch. We’re also adding a 5MP camera and 5G5 for better collaboration no matter where you’re working. The new “river” color, a blue/gray blend, offers a premium and modern look.
    • The Latitude 7000 series is also available in 13-inch and 14-inch aluminum options, now with a new 16-inch option. Users can work efficiently with the enhanced features of an enlarged touchpad, high-quality top and bottom firing speakers. Workers have the choice of 5MP IR, FHD IR or FHD cameras for even greater video conferencing quality.

Performance and Style Reach New Heights with Dell Precision

Performance needs to happen anywhere – especially for systems supporting graphic designers, architects and engineers. For professionals who require high performance, stylish design and more screen real estate, we’ve added a 16-inch thin and light mobile workstation to our Precision lineup.

The new Precision 5680 has the smallest footprint in the world for a 16-inch workstation,6 offering even more power and immersive experiences for creators and engineers. The specs are impressive: up to Intel® Core™ i9 (45W) and up to 64GB of DDR5 memory with the NVIDIA RTX 5000 Ada Generation Laptop GPU. Users will benefit from the crisp 16:10, three-sided InfinityEdge display, haptic trackpad for quick and responsive feedback, four grade A audio speakers, up to UHD+ PremierColor display and FHD IR camera with proximity and ambient light sensor.

With discrete graphics providing a whole lot of power, cooling is a must for the Precision 5680. We added our patented Dual Opposite Outlet fan technology so the system can handle complex workflows and intensive applications. With an HDMI port, a full-size SD card slot and an optional smart card reader, creators and engineers have the reliable and secure tools to perform. Plus, our most demanding users benefit from the innovative extended power range (EPR) technology, delivering more power (165W versus 130W) through a universal USB-C connector.

We’ve also updated the broader Dell Precision portfolio, from our entry-level 3000 Series mobile workstations to our most powerful Precision 7000 Series mobile, tower and rack workstations. All benefit from ISV certifications. So, whether you’re experimenting with 2D or 3D workflows or a specialized power user looking to push the limits of your technology, Precision workstations have the performance, speed and reliability to bring your ideas to life.

Sustainable by Design

The future of work requires a future supported by sustainable technology. As our highest volume series, our engineers prioritize sustainable advancements in the Latitude 5000 series to make the greatest environmental impact. When it comes to PC design, the new Latitude 5000 series devices are designed with the world’s greatest variety and most innovative use of sustainable materials, featuring components made with recycled plastics, reclaimed carbon fiber, renewable materials and ocean-bound plastics.2 As our most sustainable Latitude program yet,7 the series includes a 64% increase in our use of recycled and renewable plastics (by weight) over our previous generation of Latitude 5000 series products.2

It doesn’t stop there. We continue to make gains across the Latitude and Precision portfolios – our Latitude 9440 is the world’s first PC and the Precision 5680 is the first Precision mobile workstation designed with low carbon and recycled aluminum, including 75% recycled aluminum in the chassis.8 The Latitude 9440 keyboard has keycaps made from 75% recycled plastic and has renewable plastic components made from a byproduct of agricultural and food waste.7 And, for the first time, we have introduced recycled copper in the Latitude 9440, Precision 5680 and Precision 3000 Series power adapters.9

The full Latitude and Precision portfolios continue to ship with 100% recycled or renewable packaging, too.10 Companies also benefit from Dell Optimizer’s “Quiet Mode” setting that can provide up to 18% in power savings.11
