3 To be eligible for the introductory balance transfer interest rate, you must make the balance transfer request when applying for the HSBC Platinum credit card and the balance transfer must be from non-HSBC credit cards. 5 HSBC will reimburse the value of the first 5 mobile payment transactions made on your account, up to a cumulative total of $150. The maximum reward for a customer is $150. The reimbursement will occur within 6 weeks from when customers have completed their eligible mobile payment transactions. To be eligible for a reimbursement, the first 5 mobile payment transactions must take place within 30 days of the card approval. HSBC Star Alliance Credit Card

To be eligible for Fast Track to Star Alliance Gold Status, you must apply and be approved for a new HSBC Star Alliance Credit Card and spend $4,000 on eligible purchases within the first 90 days from account opening. Star Alliance Gold status is granted through the corresponding status tier in the Frequent Flyer Program (FFP) of the participating Star Alliance Member Airline you nominate as your Status Airline through the Star Alliance Rewards Program. Refer to the Star Alliance Rewards Terms and Conditions for available status tiers and additional terms and conditions. Status will be granted within 30 days after reaching the qualifying spend of $4,000, provided that your account is active and not in arrears. Your status will be granted until the first anniversary of your account opening or earlier, if you qualify for a higher status with your selected Frequent Flyer Program by any means. You may not be able to receive Star Alliance Gold status with a participating Frequent Flyer Program if you already hold, by any means, an equivalent or higher status with that Program (more information available on the Star Alliance Rewards Terms and Conditions). You may only request status with one participating Frequent Flyer Program each time you qualify and may not switch Programs during the duration of that status. Any status granted under the HSBC Star Alliance Credit Card is withdrawn immediately if you close your HSBC Star Alliance Credit Card account. Offer is limited to new applicants only. HSBC Platinum Qantas Credit Card

1 For newly issued HSBC Platinum Qantas credit cards, a promotional earn rate applies for the first 12 months from your account opening date. In addition to earning 1 Qantas Point per $1 spent on eligible purchases, you will earn an additional 0.5 Qantas Points per $1 spent on eligible purchases processed within the first 12 months your account opening date. That is, you will earn 1.5 Qantas Points for every $1 spent on eligible purchases for the first 12 months from your account opening date. After the first 12 months from account opening, you will earn 1 Qantas Point per $1 spent on eligible purchases. Qantas Points will no longer accrue when the total value of your eligible purchases reaches $120,000 in each 12-month period starting from your account opening date. Qantas Points previously earned are subsequently deducted if there are refunds, reimbursements or chargebacks on your account. This promotional earn rate offer is limited to new applicants only. HSBC Everyday Global Account

13 Non-HSBC branded ATMs and HSBC Group ATMs in Argentina, France, Greece, Malta, Mexico and Turkey may charge an ATM operator fee for withdrawals or balance enquiries at their ATMs.

14 Where a currency is not one of the listed currencies available with the Everyday Global Account or is in a restricted currency (such as Chinese Renminbi (CNY), the money will be deducted from the AUD account. Any ATM withdrawals will be automatically converted into the local currency at the Visa exchange rate.

15 HSBC Everyday Extras is a feature of the HSBC Everyday Global Account. You will be eligible for Everyday Extras if you deposit at least AUD2,000 into your HSBC Everyday Global Account before the last working business day of each calendar month. 16 You will earn 2% cashback on eligible purchases under $100 when you tap and pay with Visa payWave, Apple Pay or Google Pay™.  HSBC Real Time Exchange Rates will apply for AUD, USD, EUR, GBP, CNY, HKD, CAD, NZD, JPY, CHF, SGD, AED, DKK, MXN, NOK, SAR, SEK, THB and ZAR when using HSBC Online or Mobile Banking for transfer between HSBC Australia accounts and international transfers within currency cut-off times.

HSBC Real Time Exchange Rates will apply when the foreign exchange (FX) market is open. When the FX market is closed on weekends (that is from the US market closing time on Friday to the Asia market opening time on Monday), the HSBC real time exchange rate is priced off the exchange rate applying at the time the US market closed plus an additional weekend margin.

The HSBC Real Time Exchange Rate will not apply on currency holidays, on NSW and US public holidays, to transfers in currencies not listed above and to transfers outside of HSBC Australia entered after currency cut-off times. Instead, the HSBC Daily Exchange Rate, which is set and refreshed every 30 minutes daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (excluding weekends and NSW public holidays) will apply.

For future dated transactions via HSBC Online or Mobile Banking, the HSBC Daily Exchange Rate on the future date of the transaction will apply.

HSBC Real Time Exchange Rates will apply for Global Transfers between your HSBC Accounts. For transfers in unsupported currencies using Global Transfers, the receiving country’s daily exchange rate will apply and currency cut-off times of the receiving country may also apply. For future dated transactions using Global Transfers, the HSBC Real Time Exchange Rate on the future date of the transaction will apply when the FX market is open.

Transfer and correspondent banking fees may apply for transfers outside of HSBC Australia. 

FX transactions are subject to foreign exchange risk associated with exchange rate movements. HSBC accounts should not be used for speculative FX purposes.

19 Real time foreign exchange (FX) transactions are available 24/7 between linked HSBC Australia accounts for selected currencies using Online and Mobile Banking.
