As the former Working Men’s College, RMIT has come ahead in leaps and bounds identifying and progressing toward 50/50 gender targets by 2020. But whilst we’ve made progress, we’ve still got some distance to go.

What can each of us do to drive change in achieving the global theme for International Women’s Day in 2019 – ‘Balance for Better’.

Join us for an insightful and interactive morning with RMIT’s executive leaders, author and commentator Jamila Rizvi and the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commissioner Kristin Hilton

  • Kristin Hilton, Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commissioner

  • Vice-Chancellor Martin Bean

  • Professor Belinda Tynan, Deputy-vice Chancellor (Education) and Vice President,

  • Allison Shevlin, Executive Director of Human Resources

Together, panellists will each will share their observations on achieving balance for better, across politics, academia, STEMM, leadership, media and of course, at RMIT and in wider society.
