Program: Nutrition and Dietetics Internship

Students of Nutrition, Dietetics and related subjects are eligible to apply 

Program Duration: Minimum 2 weeks to 20 weeks

Internship Nepal is an internship placement organization based in Kathmandu, Nepal that offers students the opportunities of Nutrition and Dietetics internship placements with some of the most prominent hospitals in Kathmandu. Some services of Internship of Nepal on offer are: 

• Most reliable and dynamic internship placements for students with hospitals on the basis of areas of interest and desired department. 
• Constant guidance and supervision throughout the program as well as effective evaluation at the end. 
• Full accommodation and meals in our own home at the most affordable cost. Hospitals are at walking distance from home. 

The activities you’ll be engaged in during the placement are:

Our dynamic and widely regarded internship programs have a lot more on offer than that can be illustrated on paper, following modalities will be implemented for the students in the hospitals for the internships program: 

• Assignments or projects to be completed in each rotation at the hospital
• Conducting individual and group counselling
• Identifying nutrition deficiency among the patients in the hospital
• Helping build nutrition and diabetes awareness campaign
• Conducting fitness and exercise programs
• Engaging in providing children’s health & education
• Provide oral, enteral and parenteral nutrition support
• Nutrition assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation
• Organizing general healthy living programs
• Understanding the benefit and cost to the client and health care system
• Engage in research, training and education
