How NESA accredits PD courses
The NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accredits PD courses to align with the:
- Accreditation of Professional Development Courses Policy (the Policy)
- Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (the Standards).
The Policy ensures that all teachers in NSW have access to quality PD in prescribed priority areas. Teachers should complete courses to:
- improve their practice
- improve student learning outcomes
- meet their ongoing teacher accreditation requirements.
