What we’re about

Do you know who Bush Heritage Australia is?
Are you are supporter or current volunteer living in the Newcastle and Hunter Region?

Recently we have found that there are a number of people who barrack for Bush Heritage Australia (BHA) in this area and we met recently to get together and share BHA stories.

We are interested in making contact with you with the view to getting together to talk conservation and share BHA stories. If you are a current supporter or volunteer we would love to hear from you.

Bush Heritage Australia is a national non-profit, protecting biodiversity in Australia for over 25 years. They buy land of high conservation value & work with other land owners (particularly Aboriginal groups) to help plan & implement conservation on private lands.

Funding comes from donations and bequeaths from everyday people who are passionate about conserving key Australian landscapes and protecting natural areas for the benefit for all. Alongside this, BHA utilises a valuable volunteer group who assists with a number of hands on tasks in the field and behind the scenes activities.

NOTE: This group is not run by Bush Heritage Australia or any of their employed staff. It is purely a group to bring like minds with common experiences together to share a passion for a fantastic organisation.
